Terms of Sale

1. General

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made through the Rumor Has It online store, operated by V.O.F. Team REDACTED, a company registered in the Netherlands. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. The terms applicable to your order are those in effect at the time of purchase.

2. Products

We sell the Rumor Has It card game and related merchandise through our online store. Product descriptions and images are provided for informational purposes. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free or complete.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT (Value Added Tax) as required by Dutch and EU law. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed separately at checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. However, price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order.

4. Orders

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase. We will send you an order confirmation email, which constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We accept major credit cards, iDEAL, Bancontact, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.

5. Shipping

We currently ship to countries within the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK).

• Netherlands: free standard shipping
• EU countries: standard shipping rates apply, calculated at checkout
• United Kingdom: standard shipping rates apply, calculated at checkout

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Estimated delivery times vary by destination. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns & Refunds

You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days from the date of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection law (right of withdrawal).

To be eligible for a return:

• Items must be unopened and in original packaging
• Items must be in the same condition as received
• You must contact us at info@rumorhas.it to initiate the return process

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is defective or the wrong product was sent. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the original payment method.

7. Liability

Rumor Has It is a card game intended for entertainment purposes only. All conspiracy theories created during gameplay are fictional and should not be taken as factual statements.

To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, V.O.F. Team REDACTED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our products or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer based in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Additionally, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
